Night of 5-9-01 -
Night of May 9, 2001 I was back in high school. We were reading books because it was reading time. The teacher had some crutches. She asked if anybody wanted a crutch. To pretend that you had a broken/lame foot. I picked one up. I wanted to pretend. So did another girl. We could only have one crutch - so we walked around in class to get the hang of walking with a crutch. It was hard and I couldn't get the hang of it. I had to adjust it to be the right height for me. I found myself walking down this street with snow on the ground. I was walking with the crutch. The crutch was broken so I was having an even harder time walking. I finally got to the place where I wanted to be. I stood in an area, looking around. Someone asked, if I was okay. I said, I'm fine. I found myself somewhere else. A women (I know I reconized her in real life - but I can't place where I know her) pointed to a non-broken crutch and asked if that crutch would be any better. I grinned and said yes. I threw aside the broken one and grabbed the new one. I walked around perfectly with it.
